Andainya dapatku menulis
Nota-nota cinta buat diri-Nya
Ingin ku titipkan bersama
Semua kuntuman bunga
Yang indah berseri
Ku sembur haruman mewangi
Bersama kata-kata puji
Sedang Dia tahu kasih dan cintanya aku
Menjalin ikatan menuju ke Syurga
Cintaku kepada Dia
Rinduku hanya pada-Nya
Kasihku tulus buat-Nya
Setiaku balas kasih-Nya
Kasihku kasih yang setia
Pada yang punya
Dambaku pada Yang Esa
Pujian hanya buat-nya
Akurku kebesaran-Nya
Teragung Maha Suci-Nya
Taatku hamba yang hina
Pada Pencipta
Kiranya aku hilang arah
Jalan hidupku berubah punah
Namun kasih-Nya tak pernah akan musnah
Belas rahmat-Nya terus mencurah-curah
Nur Hidayah-Nya semakin cerah
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي إِلَى حُبِّكَ
[Tirmidhi and Ahmad]
O Allah, I ask You for Your Love,
and the love of whoever loves You,
and the love of deeds that will bring me closer to Your Love.
"He is successful whose heart Allah has made sincere toward faith,
whose heart He has made free from unbelief,
his tongue truthful, his soul calm, his nature straight,
whose ear He has made attentive and his eye observant.
The ear is a funnel and the eye is a repository for what the heart learns.
He is successful whose heart is made retentive. "
